World Refugee Day Challenge 2021
June 7th to June 20th
At Second Tree we’re building a world where refugees are seen and treated like the people they are, not as helpless victims or intruders. Refugees don’t need our pity, they need the tools to unleash their potential & contribute to their new community.
To achieve our mission, we’re launching a Fundraising Challenge for World Refugee Day that will unite people with different skills around the same goal: giving refugees the opportunity to progress their lives with dignity!
Through different actions, our champions will strive to raise funds and provide 250 refugees with two months of education!
WHAT WE DO
We empower refugees across Northern Greece.
Second Tree is a community-led, volunteer-run, grassroots NGO that supports, teaches and learns with refugees. Our goal is to support refugees in building a new life in Europe, integrate & engage in their new community. We do this through educational activities in three key areas: Language Learning, Integration and Youth Well-Being.
